In the crucial 3rd ODI, it's the West Indian skipper Jason Holder who opted to bat first after winning the toss.

Pakistan ended a run of four consecutive ODI defeats with a thumping win in the second ODI against the West Indies on Sunday and the Pakistanis will either protect their unbeaten 26-year ODI series record against the West Indies or lose that tag today.

Shoaib Malik made his ninth one-day global century as Pakistan inflicted more misery on West Indies with a six-wicket victory to seal the series 2-1 in Guyana on Tuesday.

According to the ICC's ODI Team Rankings Predictor: A win for West Indies will get them up to 85 points and Pakistan down by one point to 88. But the hosts yet again faltered in their batting with only captain Jason Holder and Ashley Nurse showing some resistance.

"West Indies fought hard and credit to them but this really gives us encouragement going into the Champions Trophy".

West Indies' bowling looked bleak and uninspiring that saw Babar milk them to all parts of the ground. Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo, who stood out with the ball, bowled only three deliveries to Imad, making this battle a mouth-watering affair in third and final match.

Pointing out that the Caribbean side usually performs better when their backs are against the wall, Holder said the players were upbeat and needed no extra motivation for the contest at the Guyana National Stadium.

The series is levelled one-one.

Hometown left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul has been added to the Windies squad as cover for fast bowler Gabriel, but the Windies do have a like-for-like replacement in Miguel Cummins, who may make his first appearance this series.
