Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinosa, whose previous credits include Life (the not-a-stealth-Venom-prequel) - which was actually a pretty good time.
In a trailer for the vampire flick "Morbius", released by Sony Pictures Monday, the 48-year-old Oscar victor ("Dallas Buyers Club") plays Dr. Michael Morbius, a scientist with a rare blood disorder looking for a cure that involves interacting with a slew of bats. And thus he becomes "the living vampire".
Morbius is set to hit theaters on July 31 in both the United States and UK.
