OnePlus 7 Pro camera details leaked, tipped to come with 48MP camera

Probably after a million leaks, we have a date now. The company has pointed to a launch date before the end of May, and according to Twitter leakster Ishan Agarwal the global launch will take place on 14 May, with simultaneous events in London, New York and Bangalore.

The company's CEO Lau hasn't revealed what this event will be all about.

OnePlus smartphones come with the best SoCs every year. The upcoming handset will come with a water drop notch. Hopefully, the standard OnePlus 7 remains closer in pricing to previous flagships, so that users can enjoy the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC at a relatively lower price tag.

In recent times, there has been a couple of leaks regarding the upcoming OnePlus 7 series. The OnePlus 7 is said to be 157.7×74.8×8.1mm in dimension, adding to that its camera bump, it would be 9.5m of thickness. The idea of a pop-up selfie shooter is new from OnePlus but definitely not a new design. In addition to that, the smartphone will boast a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5 percent.

Details are still unconfirmed but the triple rear camera can be expected. The leaks hint at an 6.4-inch flat AMOLED display. There were also reports saying that the device will not be offered with wireless charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus Pro will get a triple camera setup at the back. Wherein, the primary camera will comprise of a 48-megapixel sensor.

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro both are speculated to debut with Android Pie out-of-the-box. So, we expect a 90Hz display on the OnePlus 7 Pro too. But for some time, the new OnePlus phones have been a part of the rumour mill.

Lau tweeted a five second teaser clip, which says "Fast and Smooth" on top of an outline of a device which appears to have curved edges. The device will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. D-Day is indeed coming for OnePlus, but new leaks keep on coming.
