Nissan is more than eager to celebrate its performance heritage.

That's how long the fearsome Nissan GT-R has been around.

The car's suspension has also seen some additional tweaks and the already impressive Brembo brake setup has been further improved.

The more substantial changes concern the more extreme GT-R Track Edition and GT-R Nismo models, but the base auto, known as the Premium, benefits from a special 50th anniversary package that's available with the GT-R's iconic Bayside Blue paint.

The livery of the special edition 370Z pays homage to the #46 BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) Datsun 240Z that won multiple SCCA National Championships in USA.

The 50th anniversary GT-R comes in three two-tone exterior paint combinations including Bayside Blue/ white, Pearl White/red, and Super Silver/white.

Blazers go up 2-0 against the Thunder with 114-94 win
They were also sub-par in Game 1 where they shot 5-of-33 (15.2%) while allowing the Blazers to shoot 11-of-25 (44.0%). The talent gap between the teams was way too much and the Bucks overwhelmed the Pistons 121-86.

As with the 370Z, the anniversary treatment is just an appearance package for the GT-R. A new titanium muffler should reduce weight while looking cool with burnished exhaust tips. All models will come with a 50th Anniversary badge on the back, as well as "50th Anniversary" script written above the rear license plate housing.

As for the 2020 GT-R Premium, it continues to generate 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque.

That bright shade of blue became almost as iconic as the R34 Skyline GT-R on which it was last seen, and for the 50 Anniversary Edition, it will be paired with a white stripe. Inside, the special model gets a grey colour scheme with a unique steering wheel, shift knob, embossed seats, and Alcantara for the headliner and sun visors.

Under the bonnet, race-bred GT3-dervived turbochargers are now fitted to the 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 which now outputs "approximate 447kW" of power in USA guise and has resulted in an increase in acceleration response. The transmission's R mode has been tweaked for more aggressive downshifts, and the suspension and steering systems have also been tweaked for improved performance and accuracy.

The GT-R has gone through change after change after change after change. Carbon fiber components is found on bumpers, fenders, hood, roof, side sill covers, trunk, and the rear spoiler which saves around 10.5kg. In addition, you'll be able to equip the Track Edition with a carbon-fiber roof, as well as carbon-ceramic brakes to help shed off the extra speed you'll likely encounter as a result of that 35-horsepower boost. And yes, if you want a GT-R Nismo in the 50 Anniversary Edition trim, you can get it.

At the moment, there's no word on price or when the livelier Track model will reach dealerships, but like the other GT-Rs, expect summer availability.
