Afternoon severe storms that could produce large hail, high wind and even a stray tornado.

All modes of severe weather will be possible tonight: strong to damaging wind gusts, hail and a low threat of tornadoes. Timing for the highest threat of the stronger storms will be during the evening.

Damaging winds and hail are also possible from Tallahassee, Florida, all the way north to Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee.

With this being the first decent chance for spring season severe thunderstorms, the National Weather Service has compiled information to help people manage their stress during the storms.

Brown, who had 19 goals and 35 points in 70 games in the minors, has one goal and one assist in 28 National Hockey League games. Brind'Amour told the outlet that Svechnikov has undergone concussion protocols, and that he seems to be doing a lot better.

As the storm moves east, a lot of rain will fall from Texas to New England. There will be the potential for rotating storms, so isolated tornadoes can not be ruled out.

The National Weather Service urged all Alabamians to pay attention to the weather on Thursday afternoon into Friday morning: "As usual, don't get too caught up in the colors on the map", forecasters said. Heavy rain is likely as well, potentially dropping up to 2-3 inches widespread before sunrise Thursday.

Louisiana and MS will be at risk Thursday morning, with the stormsmoving into Alabama on Thursday evening through the overnight hours. This has the potential to push Saturday in a cooler direction, with more clouds than sunshine and keeps the atmosphere unstable enough for scattered showers to be a threat throughout the day.
