Reiterating his warning to choke Pakistan's water supply, Union minister Nitin Gadkari Friday said the neighbouring country won't get "even a single drop of water" from India if it continues to export terror.

India has accused its neighbour of not doing enough to rein in extremist insurgents operating within its borders while Pakistan denies any involvement.

It was the deadliest attack on Indian soldiers since the Kashmiri insurgency began in 1989. We want to see it just stop.

"It upsets me that many people stay in India but speak the language of Pakistan".

In the letter, the foreign minister welcomed the call made by the European Parliament's Sub-Committee on Human Rights, earlier this week, on India to end its atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.

India's top military commander in the region has alleged Pakistan's main Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) spy agency was involved in the attack.

The Trump administration a year ago cut off $300 million in military aid to Pakistan, saying that Islamabad has not done enough to fight extremists at home or close safe havens for militants in neighbouring Afghanistan.

Indian communities across the United States have been holding protest marches denouncing the role of Pakistan in the attack which claimed lives of over 40 CRPF personnel.

He said the United States' relation with Pakistan has developed in the last few months.
