The Sacramento Kings are closing in on a trade for Dallas Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes, according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.
Barnes was on the bench for Dallas at the time as they beat the Charlotte Hornets 99-93. "I got word of it during the game and so that is why he didn't play down the stretch, obviously".
He joins the Kings after spending the last two-plus seasons in Dallas, where he was averaging 17.8 points (.406 FG%,.390 3pt%,.833 FT%), 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 49 contests this season, all starts.
