The original Mortal Kombat was first released in 1992 and has seen 10 major releases since.

A stunningly violent trailer played, displaying a brutal battle between Scorpion and Raiden.

It is not sure if the track will also be featured on his new album but time will tell.

Finally, NetherRealm Studios has promised a roster of "new and returning Klassic Fighters", with those who pre-order also getting exclusive access to Shao Khan.

If there was an award for the goriest trailer at The Game Awards then it would definitely have gone to the new Mortal Kombat... which is exactly what fans would've hoped and expected. Pre-order the game on PS4 or Xbox One, and you'll get access to a beta that's scheduled for March on those platforms. The song playing during the Mortal Kombat 11 trailer is called "Immortal" by 21 Savage.

The premium edition of Mortal Kombat 11 comes with the base game, plus the Kombat Pack.
