Ariana's performance has a First Wives Club theme and she dressed up in all-white alongside her back-up singers (and song co-writers) Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx.
There were some bumps and maybe even a few tears, but she persisted (and managed to find the fun), serving some on-point vocals as always.

Though the Ellen performance mostly goes off without a hitch, Grande and her companions mistakenly dance through the Ellen audience toward the studio exit when the song concludes.
