If you've been waiting to try Destiny 2, Bungie just announced that the game will be available for free (with some caveats). No time limits, and no strings attached. Keep in mind, only the base game is free, but this does include all of the balance and economy changes that have happened since launch.

If you want to try Destiny 2 and you don't already have the Battle.net launcher, you can download it right here.

Bus plunges into Chinese river after fight between driver and passenger
People watch the bus wreck being raised out of water in Wanzhou in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality early Thursday. More than 70 rescue boats came to the scene, including three floating cranes with a total capacity of 125 tonnes.

It appears Bungie are trying to facilitate an injection of new players for Destiny 2 by lowering the barrier of entry. According to PC Gamer, you'll also need to activate Blizzard's SMS Protect 2-factor authentication before you can claim the game. It's not quite a free game, but it's certainly better than nothing. Minimum system requirements for the PC game are an Intel Core i3-3250, Intel Pentium G4560, or an AMD FX-4350, along with a GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 1050 2GB, or Radeon HD 7850. Bungie should see an influx of players that potentially turn into long-term payers via in-game microtransactions and/or Forsaken DLC purchases (especially once people realize they're locked out of specific activities for not having the expansions). Additionally, 6GB of RAM, and 68GB of HDD space.
