One area where the iPhone XS and XS Max could do with improvement is on their overall toughness. When it comes to very weak signals or levels below -120dBm, iPhone XS is comparable to the Qualcomm phones, though a lot better than the original iPhone X.
That's still a conversation that you're going to have to have with your wallet, but PCMag has provided a little more data to tip the scales in favor of the iPhone XS.
