The company has revealed that the smartphone will have the fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the display just as some of the recently launched Oppo and Vivo phones and not on the rear panel as seen on the OnePlus 6.
Coming to the leak, the OnePlus 6T will come with five protective cases: Ebony Wood and Karbon Bumper Cases that will reportedly be pitched at €31.95, the Nylon Bumper Case Black that will apparently carry a price tag of €26.95, and two new variants of the classic Protective Case, Sandstone and Karbon, which will reportedly cost €21.95 and €26.95 respectively. OnePlus had to cut everyone's favorite jack in order to make room for the new scanner, which takes the form of an image sensor embedded underneath the display of the OnePlus 6T. This is perhaps one of the most crucial changes which the OnePlus 6T comes with. OnePlus is even redesigning the notch on the 6T, replacing it with a "water drop" notch design that's much smaller than the one on the OnePlus 6.
The battery on the OnePlus 6T has also been upgraded to 3700mAh which will be promising better battery life. OnePlus earlier confirmed that the new smartphone will have this feature.

Chinese handset maker OnePlus has released its latest teaser of the upcoming 6T. In fact, thanks to invites to a OnePlus event which made the rounds over the internet reveal that the OnePlus 6T may launch on the 17th of October. Also, on the software front, the OnePlus 6T is expected to boot Android 9 Pie out of the box. Considering the price of the OnePlus 6, the base variant of the OnePlus 6T is likely to cost less than $500 (Rs 35,000), and the price is expected to go up to $700 (Rs 45,000) for the higher storage and RAM variant.
