Nothing is official just yet, however, so readers are advised to take this with a pinch of salt until its October 17th launch date. Curiously, this invite has appeared on a Chinese social media website and not India, so it may well mean that the OnePlus 6T India launch could be the global unveiling of the smartphone.

Now, the user who shared this image on Weibo said the battery in question is for the OnePlus 6T. As per the leaked image of the front panel, a waterdrop notch can be clearly seen which houses the selfie camera right in the middle.

A recent side-by-side comparison with OnePlus 6 shows that OnePlus 6T could sport a similar dual rear camera configuration, though the latter will launch without a fingerprint scanner at the back. So, we can expect that people will receive OnePlus 6T's launching event's invitation with the written quote of "Unlock the Speed" over it along with a blotch.

The driver later told police he "didn't feel safe at all and needed to get out of there", according to the report. The Vikings issued a statement late Monday after reports of Griffen's health began percolating.

Other speculated technical specifications of OnePlus 6T include Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone has already been listed on Amazon India, confirming that OnePlus 6T will launch here as an Amazon exclusive.

But, the leaked image also features the company's tagline "Unlock The Speed" which is most likely a reference to the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the upcoming phone. To recollect, most of the previous rumours also suggested the same launch date for the 6T. Fewer bezels, better detail, and, of course, that built-in fingerprint scanner.

The newest leak claims that the OnePlus 6T will be slightly thicker than its predecessor, coming in at 8.2mm thick. If the images are to believed then one thing is for sure that OnePlus plans to opt for a wireless design which explains the missing headphone jack. But, this is probably going to be the first time that OnePlus 6T will be launching in the India market, probably in the second week of October.
