Julie Swetnick's allegations bring attention to story about Mark Judge, Kavanaugh

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti, called Vinneccy's allegations "complete nonsense" and said Swetnick caught him using her resume to apply for jobs. Judge Kavanaugh has described it as "ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone".

Judge Kavanaugh furiously lambasted Democrats, accusing them of destroying his family after Dr Christine Blasey Ford, a college professor, told the panel she was "100 percent" certain he had assaulted her at a 1982 high school gathering.

The fresh allegations include a claim by a woman that Brett Kavanaugh "assaulted a woman he was dating in 1998 while working for independent counsel Ken Starr", according to the complaint.

The woman, Julie Swetnick, said that she was the victim of one of these gang rapes in approximately 1982.

She did not allege that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her.

"We demand an immediate FBI investigation into the allegations", he continued.

Swetnick, 55, who lives in Washington, D.C., said she graduated from Gaithersburg High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Swetnick does not claim in her declaration that there are other witnesses who can attest to any role of Brett Kavanaugh in gang rape.

"At the very least, the hearing and vote should be postponed while the FBI investigates all of these allegations", he tweeted.

The woman, Deborah Ramirez, claimed that during a drunken dorm room party at Yale University, Kavanaugh thrust his penis in her face and caused her to touch it.

Feinstein then asked if Kavanaugh wanted to elaborate on his comments about Swetnick's accusations.

Swetnick and her lawyer Michael Avenatti are calling for an FBI investigation into her allegations.

Judiciary Chairman Charles E. Grassley would not take a stand on Avenatti's involvement in the high-stakes Supreme Court nomination.

Kavanaugh, who was nominated by President Donald Trump, has denied the allegations.

"I just want the facts to come out and I want it to be just and I want the American people to have those facts and judge for themselves", she says in the clip. His name came up over and over again during her testimony: She said it was Judge who turned up the music to drown out her protests.

Avenatti, the attorney made famous by CNN for representing porn star Stormy Daniels, was caught off guard by the news of the restraining order filed against his client.

"What you're saying, if I understand it, is that the allegations by Dr. Ford, Ms. Ramirez and Ms. Swetnick are wrong?"

In her statement, Swetnick also mentions that she watched Brett Kavanaugh's interview on Fox News earlier this week.

Shortly after Kavanaugh's testimony concluded, the committee set a meeting for Friday morning with the possibility of the Senate reaching a final vote on his confirmation by early next week.

"There is no question in my mind that Mark Judge has significant information concerning the conduct of Brett Kavanaugh during the 1980s, especially as it relates to his actions toward women", she said. He and one of the accusers, Christine Blasey Ford, will testify publicly Thursday before the Judiciary Committee. "The standard of character and fitness for a position on the nation's highest court must be higher than this".
