A bunch of images leaked today by a Ukrainian tech blogger seem to provide us the very first look at what appears to be a final Google Pixel 3 XL production unit (via Android Police). The leaked device was remotely erased, so we didn't really get to see much of the software, or how Android Pie looks on this thing.
Just hours before Samsung reveals its Galaxy Note 9, the leak floodgates have opened up once again, but this time for the Pixel 3 XL. In the most recent and probably the most "complete" leak of the recent times, Google's next smartphone, Pixel 3, has been revealed in its entirety. There is also a USB-C cable included.
A Pixel 3 XL prototype that Google hasn't remotely nuked yet.
In the box, we see a pair of ear buds that share a similar design to Google's Pixel Buds, but they are wired (with USB-C) and lack the "G" logo on the outside. They dont show anything unexpected the Pixel 3 XL has a 1440p+ display (with a notch), is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie. There's a large camera sensor in its corner (just one), accompanied by an LED flash, and a round fingerprint scanner in its center.
Israel launches airstrikes on Gaza, leaving one dead
Protests and clashes along the Gaza border since the end of March have seen at least 165 Palestinians killed by Israeli fire . Residents of Israeli communities near the Gaza border were instructed on Wednesday night to remain near protected spaces.
In terms of design, it gets a taller display but there's a rather thick chin at the bottom which houses one if its front-facing stereo speakers.
Apart from the Google Pixel 3 XL, there is also a smaller Pixel 3.
In several shots you can see that the notification bar is little fatter that we've come to expect to fit the notch's length and that the icons are fewer in number due to the reduced space. They're all about changing the phone, after all, not the accessories.
