Motorola Moto Z3 Unveils

The new Motorola Moto Z3 which comes across as an upgraded version of the Moto Z3 Play has finally been launched in the US, India Today reported. It also continues the Moto Z-Series legacy of supporting Moto Mods through a dedicated pogo-pin connector at the back.

Motorola revealed the brand-new Moto Z3 smartphone yesterday. This means the Moto Z3 Force which was highly anticipated to release this year and become the successor to last year's Moto Z2 Force will not debut.

The Moto Z3 price in the U.S. has been set at $480 (approximately Rs. 33,000).

The Moto Z3 is a Verizon exclusive, and will be available on August 16.

Motorola held a press event at its headquarters in Chicago, where the company announced the new Moto Z3 smartphone that has some world exclusive features and even a huge upgrade path.

The Moto Z3 and the Z3 Play both have the same 6.01-inch 18:9 Super AMOLED display with a 2160 x 1080p Full HD resolution. Coming to the cameras, the Z3 sports two 12MP cameras on the rear side with the primary sensor featuring Dual Pixel autofocus, phase-detect laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. On the front, we find instead an 8-megapixel sensor with an aperture f / 2.0. The smartphone comes with a 64GB of onboard expandable storage. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, compass, and proximity sensor.

The Moto Z3 runs on nearly stock Android. Moto z3 is will support Verizon's 5G network when it will launch next year. The smartphone supports QuickCharge 4.0, which will give you half a day of battery life with just a 30-minute charge.

While there might not be something that special about Moto Z3 at first glance, the smartphone will become truly unique in 2019 when Motorola will make the brand-new 5G Moto Mod available for purchase.

The pricing details for the 5G Moto Mod have yet to be announced, as well as pricing for 5G-specific plans from Verizon. The mod is said to release next year but no price was mentioned. A mobile solution will follow in 2019, which is when that 5G Moto Mod will come in handy. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and support (15W) TurboPower fast charging technology.

The Moto Z3 comes along with a dual camera setup on the rear and single on the front.
