It is rather fitting to see the release date for the remastered games to be announced through a Microsoft listing, as the last Shenmue title to release in North America, was all the way back in 2002, on the original Xbox console, with the release of Shenmue II.
Microsoft's own Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed on his blog that Shenmue 1 & 2 is now available for pre-order. I'm told they're incredible.
Officially, Shenmue and Shenmue II's upcoming port bundle, coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One ahead of the launch of Shenmue III, doesn't have a firm release date. The Shenmue I & II physical edition is also available to order, bundling a double-sided poster and a reversible cover that includes the game's original artwork.
LaVar Ball Continues to Sound Off on Lakers Signing LeBron James
If the Lakers want any chance of competing with the Warriors next season, they'll have to add some more pieces around James. Short of San Antonio lowering its asking price for Leonard, this situation is likely going to drag on for a lot longer.
We'll have to wait and see how Yu Suzuki's Shenmue III - backed to the tune of $6 million - will end his epic revenge saga. They haven't done much in terms of remastering the game but you will have the option to use Japanese or English audio, the choice to use classic or modern control options, scalable screen resolution, and an updated interface. All you'll get for pre-ordering Shenmue I & II is a copy of the game when it comes out on August 21.
