Google Pixel 3 Android Flagship Line Leaks In High-Res Renders

Only last week was the notch confirmed for the XL device after several phone cases emerged on Chinese e-commerce marketplace AliExpress.

The smaller Google Pixel 3 doesn't feature a notch and instead sticks to bezels above and below its 5.4in 18:9 aspect ratio display, although these look noticeably smaller than the bezels on last year's Pixel 2.

Over on the back, both phones appear to take a largely similar approach to their predecessing Pixel 2 lineup - a single camera sensor, a fingerprint scanner, the Google logo and the ecelectic mix of glass and aluminium. It's believed that the display on the Pixel 3 XL will be 6.2-inches in size. While far from a truly borderless phone, the Pixel 3 does appear to sport thinner bezels than its predecessor, which may allow it to jump on the 2:1 aspect ratio bandwagon. Under the hood, will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage, whereas the Pixel 3 XL might get 6GB of RAM.

No doubt that Google's phone is themselves a champ, now if we talk about the Google Pixel 2 it has a best-in-show camera and a lower price tag that starts at $649, Pixel 2 has a broad appeal that we think even die-hard Apple iPhone users should give the Pixel 2 a shot.

Both Android P smartphones are tipped to sport two front-facing cameras, similar to those seen on HTC's U12 Plus. There's also a chance that Google may release the new Pixel flagships with Android 9.1 with some improvements. The renowned industry insider, Steve Hemerstoffer (also known as OnLeaks) has come up with high definition (HD) 360 degree renders of the Pixel 3 and its larger variant. The same goes here as well in terms of dual front-facing cameras. But Apple used a notch to offer an edge to edge display experience, whereas on the Pixel 3, with the stereo speaker on the chin, the objective of having the notch is just defeated.

There are a few "controversies" surrounding the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The smaller device is said to be approximately 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9mm in size, while the Pixel 3 XL should measure in at around 158 x 76.6 x 7.9mm. These are the third generation of the Google Pixel smartphones and should be revealed in September this year by the company. This shows that Google too has embraced the notched display design like the other smartphone OEMs this year.
