We have been upgraded to an enhanced risk for severe storms for areas in orange.

Tonight: Showers and storms seem likely during the evening into the overnight, and again any heavier storms could produce some flooding.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A large storm complex is moving through IL this morning and looks to five our way by late morning in our northernmost communities and close to 12-1 p.m.in the metro. Overnight, showers should dissipate with lows in the mid to upper 60's. Temperatures will warm heading into the work week and more rain chances towards the end of the upcoming week. By Wednesday hopefully the showers and storms will be more scattered and the sun will try to shine through.

World Cup 2026 awarded to USA, Canada and Mexico
Canada will officially co-host 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. "This was not a vote in the United Nations", said U.S. But, the stadium told NJ Advance Media that no final decision as to where the final will be held has been made.

Rain and storms are moving in just to the north and south of Hampton Roads. It wouldn't surprise me if a few of the cooler suburbs hit the upper 30s by dawn tomorrow thanks to clear skies, light winds and a very low humidity air mass in place.

Today: Partly cloudy, 30% chance of late day showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday - Mostly sunny with a high around 95. Highs will top out in the mid-90s. Lows fall all the way into the lower 60s!

Friday-Sunday brings lows back in the 70s and highs in the 90s with plenty of sunshine.
