Manchester United agree deal to sign Brazil midfielder Fred

Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Fred Rodrigues from Shakhtar Donetsk on a five-year deal.

Brazilian midfielder Fred, 25, who is expected to sign for Manchester United on Wednesday, was the surprise choice in Tite's World Cup squad for Russian Federation.

The Brazil worldwide arrived at Manchester United's training ground this morning to complete his £52million move to the club.

He will become the fourth Brazilian midfielder to play for Manchester United, following Kleberson, Anderson and Rodrigo Possebon.

United revealed the news in a brief statement on their official website, promising a further announcement "in due course". 'Of course every time you go to a new country it is hard at the beginning to adapt but I believe this will not be a problem for him.
