In today's #LivingWhileBlack news, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. made a bold attempt to re-enter his gated community, but upon realizing he had misplaced his keys, an argument ensued with a security guard who refused to grant him access to his own Henry County neighborhood.

T.I. later spoke with The Blast about the incident. According to police, T.I.'s friend, 40-year-old Marquinarius Holmes, was arrested on outstanding charges out of Clayton County for not having proof of auto insurance.

Tip is planning to pursue legal action against his Homeowner's Association for the fight he had with the security guard and insists the guard was the aggressor.

The guard told police he did not recognize T.I., and did not let him in the gate.

The guard told called police officer when T.I. started yelling at him and asked for his supervisor name.

T.I. was arrested and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. The guard says the rapper was yelling profanity at him and behaving badly.

The Hawaii Fire Department said there is a high alert level for air quality near Lanipuna Gardens estates because of fissures. The area taking the brunt of the eruption is about 40km down Kilauea's eastern flank, near the village of Pahoa.

It's not the first time T.I. has run afoul of authorities.

T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, referred to him as "Tip" in a statement to WSB-TV. The friend, who had a warrant out for his arrest from Clayton County, was arrested on that warrant.

T.I. was eventually arrested around 4:30 a.m. early Wednesday morning.

'The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse. He says the guard continued to refuse entry "without justification" before words were exchanged and police were called. The rapper was later released on bail. 'With all we been through this is small potatoes, man'. Sadow also said the police weren't interested in hearing his client's side of the story when they arrived on the scene and "wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting" him.

According to Tip, his arrest is ultimately a result of calling out his gated community's security guard for sleeping on the job. He says he demanded the guard's name, but the guy refused.

"To see young people involved with something so important right now - that gives a sense of hope", T.I. said.
