Both Messi and Neymar will hope to make a significant impact on the World Cup in Russian Federation in June.

With less than one month until the showpiece tournament commences in Russian Federation, the Paris Saint-Germain forward wants to prove his fitness in a bid to regain his form from earlier in the year.

"I started training with the ball, making passes, hitting it", he said in an interview on Facebook with Desimpedidos, the football chat and comedy channel started by former Brazilian great Kaka.

He added that "it is OK that he went the way he did, he won an important title here, he won the Champions League, won the Spanish league".

"It would be awful, because of all that Ney means to Barcelona", Messi told Argentina's TyC Sports."If he ends up at Real Madrid it would be a major blow to us".

Sultan Announces Thursday Beginning Of Ramadan Fasting
The Colombo Grand Mosque said that fasting month observed by Muslims in Sri Lanka, in view of Ramadan will commence from May 18. He stated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad used to spend very generously on the poor and the needy during this period.

Neymar famously departed Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in a record-shattering €222m transfer that left many in in Catalonia and La Liga devastated. It would be a huge blow for everyone.

"But right now, I'm a coach of these players, and I value what they have done and what they are doing, whenever we have difficulties, they are the ones who are fighting".

When asked if he had told the Brazilian not even to think about going to Madrid, a smiling Messi said: "He knows what I think, I've already told him". Although Messi admits that the two still share a close relationship, the Argentine is prepared to face Neymar in the World Cup in Russian Federation as rivals.

At the previous World Cup, he shone for Brazil before a back injury ruled him out of the semi-final clash with Germany, which the Selecao lost 7-1. Messi is running out of time to clinch the World Cup and silence critics whereas Neymar who is now 26-years still has a few more World Cups to work on.

Should he end up joining Real, Neymar will follow in the controversial footsteps of countryman Ronaldo and Luis Figo.
