On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the National Basketball Association will hold its draft lottery to determine the selections of this year's non-playoff teams.

It's not quite 2008 odds, but they are stacked against the Bulls on Tuesday as they enter with the sixth-best odds to take the top picks.

Zarren said he hasn't kept records on how successful his jacket has been, and he hasn't analyzed the numbers to see if 2.9-percent odds have ever conveyed before. Lue's coaching career has since led to his leading the Cavs to the first championship in franchise history in 2016 after being promoted from associate head coach to the top guy earlier that season when Cleveland dismissed David Blatt.

The Sixers have the 26th pick in the draft in June but they could earn another first-round pick, depending on what lottery balls are drawn in Chicago.

If the Knicks can move up into the top three they'll have a chance to get their choice of Luka Doncic, Marvin Bagley, Jaren Jackon, DeAndre Ayton, and Michael Porter. If their interest in Leonard is serious, the higher pick may be needed for them more than the other teams, with fewer assets to offer in a package. After all, the Knicks are long overdue, having not moved up in a lottery since the inaugural one in '85 that netted Patrick Ewing. Chance for top-three pick: 29.1 percent. For those franchises coming off a down year or in the midst of a rebuild, lottery night is a most anticipated - and stressful - night for both the team and its fans. Instead, they had a seven-game winning streak in December to kill those chances. You may recall he proved to be the lucky charm for the Cavaliers who landed the top pick in a year they weren't projected to finish in the top three.

Rangers announce signing of Scott Arfield on four-year deal
Rangers are expected to add several new players this summer, with Arfield the first of many. It was fortunate enough to play against him.

The Kings have a couple pieces to build around with their young backcourt in De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield, but they're still nowhere close to contention unless they strike gold in the draft.

The Magic hope Lil' Penny will bring good luck to the lottery. The pick won't fall in slots 4-9.

The 20-year veteran knows the Mavs won a total of just 57 games the past two seasons, and he realize that has to change.

Philadelphia selected point guard Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 overall pick of last year's draft, but could the 76ers still be in the market for another playmaker at the position?

Far too often, the Knicks have found themselves in situations where they are only a pick or two away from a potential superstar. He's (almost certainly) not going to be on a Memphis championship team, so he shouldn't be standing in the way of the team drafting the best talent. After a mostly up and down season, it's hard to know exactly where his stock lies at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up a late lottery pick. Like Sexton, Beverley is known for his intensity on the court which would make for an easy transition as the Alabama star develops into the Clippers plans in the future.
