A dragon float was supposed to be breathing fire, but the dragon's head ended up engulfed in flames.

The Maleficent dragon, which had a functioning fire feature, went up in flames during Friday afternoon's (local time) Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.

"Celebrate the spirit of Disney as Magic Kingdom park comes alive with music and dance during a tribute to the tales of Fantasyland", Disney's Magic Kingdom website description reads.

Video of the fiery dragon head shows its mechanical mouth and neck still operating as workers tried to put out the flames.

Social media quickly filled up with pictures of the flaming dragon in the middle of Liberty Square. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident but it definitely caused everyone in the area to be on full alert.
