Marcus Smart returned to action for the Boston Celtics on Tuesday after a month and a half absence, and he received a standing ovation. Boston coach Brad Stevens acknowledged the impact of both Australians on the Milwaukee roster post game. Smart's return seemed to spark the entire Celtics team and they played with a different energy in game 5.
After two tough losses in Milwaukee and seeing the series momentum swing back in the Bucks' favor, the news of Smart's return could help right the ship for the second seeded Celtics. Smart is as much a part of this teams identity as any player, and now that he is back they are going to see how far their defense can bring them in these playoffs.
The C's inbounded again, with 15 seconds on the shot clock, and when Smart went to the floor, he managed to roll the pass to Horford for an 86-79 lead with 28.1 seconds left.
The second, and last, missed call on the report suggests that Horford traveled before the shot anyways. Antetokounmpko was on the Milwaukee team that won two elimination games against Chicago in 2015 (before the Bucks eventually lost that series in six games). He's vowing to be more aggressive in Game 6 on Thursday, knowing it's win-or-go-home time for the Bucks.
Dellavedova finished Game 3 playing 16 mintutes, contributing five points and four assists, though as is so often the case with Delly, the box score stats only tell a fraction of the story.
White House Releases Obama Handwritten Praise of Jackson

The innate knowledge of the Bucks system that Prunty referenced is always on display when the gritty point guard links up with Milwaukee superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Smart came off the bench and had nine points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks in his first game since undergoing right thumb surgery.
Bucks: F John Henson missed his third straight game with back soreness.
A fiercely contested duel at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center was effectively settled in the third quarter when the Sixers pulled clear to take a decisive lead. "You're not going to be flawless against him". Semi is a guy who has been a versatile defender for us all year. "He makes plays for other people, he's very unselfish. but we just felt like we needed a little bit more ball pressure overall, and so that was the decision to go smaller". Instead, Milwaukee stood around with their arms in the air and Terry Rozier was able to track down the long rebound to give Boston an extra possession.
And then Rozier and Bledsoe re-opened their beef, with the latter leaning into the former with a shoulder away from the ball. Bledsoe in turn was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul.
