In addition to the trailer, Sony has released a new poster that showcases the dual life that Eddie will be leading in the film and homages a famous panel from an early Spider-Man comic. While some fans are thrilled to see how the monstrous character's symbiotic skin looks, some other claim the CGI antihero looks sick.
An eight-second first look at Tom Hardy in full Venom mode leaked online Monday - hours before the full trailer for Sony's upcoming Marvel movie "Venom" was due to be released. Venom hits theaters on Friday, October 5, 2018. "I wanted to do a movie that my son could watch", said Hardy. Joining him are Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Riz Ahmed (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Jenny Slate (Zootopia) and Woody Harrelson (the Hunger Games franchise, True Detective).

Fans have been itching for a look at Hardy as Venom. Will we see Venom in any Marvel movies?
