Kentucky will play Davidson in first round of NCAA Tournament

This marks the 38th appearance all-time appearance for the Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament and fourth time they have earned the No. 1 seed.

Villanova, Kansas and Xavier joined Virginia as the top seeds.

The No. 5-seeded Cats will take on A10 Champions, the No. 12-seeded Davidson Wildcats in Boise, Idaho in the tournament's South Region.

The Wildcats have played LIU Brooklyn once and never have seen the Radford Highlanders in program history.
