Alexa users have been posting on social media about how their Alexa devices were laughing at them.

Another Twitter user reported that Alexa began laughing in the middle of an office conversation: "I asked why she laughed and she said, 'Sorry, I am not sure'". "We're aware of this and working to fix it", a rep for the company said in an email.

Alexa's spontaneous laughter has been occurring for at least a couple of weeks, as the Twitter user @CaptHandlebar shared a short video of the device's automated chuckle on February 22.

It all seems like somebody at Amazon made a mistake.

Since the incident, dozens of other Alexa users have reported of the laughing instances. One of the users claimed that Alexa also refused to complete commands.
