Allison Janney wins best supporting actress Oscar for I, Tonya

"The first time I met her, she said, 'My god!"

"I did it all by myself", Janney joked as clutched the golden statue for Best Supporting Actress.

Janney then credited her co-stars, the others who worked on the film, her family, and even the bird who almost stole the show from its perch on Janney's shoulder in "I, Tonya".

A writer's assistant also made Janney a special T-shirt that reads "I survived awards season and all I got was this lousy T-shirt". Janney added. "And Patti LuPone is going to be on our show, so I get to be with her tomorrow".

Janney beat out Octavia Spencer, Laurie Metcalf, Lesley Manville, and Mary J. Blige.
