It appears Rousey has wrapped up her film obligations because her next appearance in WWE was announced on Monday, as she is scheduled to appear at the "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view event on Sunday night, February 25.
All attention will now turn to Rousey at Elimination Chamber as she seeks to not just win over the WWE fans, but also the competitors backstage. There's still no word on when Rousey will step into the ring for the first time, but she is expected to perform at WrestleMania, which takes place in April and serves as the WWE's biggest annual event. Despite that, know that it was a good match, even if it lacked high-spots for the majority of it. The addition of both Rollins and Balor only enhances the Elimination Chamber match, making it a triple threat to start unless WWE debuts a fifth pod (or shoves two superstars into a small booth). After the match, Nia Jax attacked both women to prove she can beat Asuka at Elimination Chamber.
Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville (with Paige) def. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James by Mandy Rose pinning Mickie James following the Bed of Roses. Bayley pinned Banks with a Belly-to-Bayley off the second rope. Both guys were great in this segment, with Strowman showing how charismatic he can be if given a chance.
Bernardeschi, Higuain put Juventus top amid VAR fiasco
Former Fiorentina prodigy Federico Bernardeschi eventually found a way through, though, before Gonzalo Higuaín wrapped things up late on.
Raw is continuing to roll toward WrestleMania, but it first has a pit stop in less than two weeks with the Elimination Chamber PPV, which is slowly shaping up.
Apollo Crews, again, put on a stellar performance. That's when Angle added Rollins to the second-chance main event after the crowd chanted "Yes!" to the option. It means nothing unless he gets people to be emotionally invested in his character, but from an in-ring standpoint, he belonged with the other main event talents in this fatal five match. In comparison to SmackDown right now, Raw is flying high.
