According to the newest report, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will launch in India on February 14. The Chinese company has chosen Valentines Day (aka 14 February), as the day for the unveiling. Honor 9 Lite smartphone is recently launched in India and the biggest highlight of the phone is the quad camera on the phone.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 is due for a release in India.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
While the Smartron tphone P comes with 5000 mAh battery, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes with 3000 mAh battery. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Besides the time & venue, the invite shows a big number 5 which indicates that Xiaomi will unveil device from 5 series perhaps the Redmi 5. Last month, a third 4GB RAM variant was also at a price of CNY 1,099 (roughly Rs. 11,200). The invite points out that this will be the company's first smartphone unveiling of the year in the country. Both phones have 12MP rear shooter with LED flash and 5MP selfie camera with LED flash on-board. What we can say for sure is that the smartphone is expected to launch in at least two variants, one of which will be the 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with Adreno 506GPU. On the storage front, the smartphone offers 2GB and 3GB RAM options along with 16GB and 32GB of ROM offerings. There were speculations suggesting that the Redmi 5 Plus will indeed be launched as the Redmi Note 5 in the worldwide markets.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Both the variations are relied upon to help storage development by means of microSD card. Honor 9 Lite has a dual rear camera and dual front camera.
