Harvey Weinstein Video Shows Restaurant Attack

A drunk bystander attacked Harvey Weinstein when he was at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, on the 9th of January, Tuesday.

Weinstein was at the Elements restaurant at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort in Scottsdale when one of the two men in the table next to his asked if he could take a picture with Weinstein, claiming to be a big fan of his movies. According to TMZ, the man, named Steve, approached Weinstein asking for a photo.

Steve, who admitted he had "quite a bit to drink", walked up to Weinstein in the video and slapped him twice on the face.

Weinstein reportedly declined to have the police called about the incident.

Lt. Michael Cole, the department spokesperson told THR, Paradise Valley police know about the assault, but a complaint has not been filed yet.

Weinstein has been living in Arizona at a rehab facility following accusations from almost 100 women that he sexually harassed/assaulted them. Weinstein did stumble, but way after he caught the hand to the face so it looked like he tripped more than anything. Steve's companion filmed the incident, which you can watch below, which shows Steve delivering two backhanded slaps to the face while berating Weinstein.

Weinstein checked into a treatment facility in Arizona after dozens of women came forward in October with allegations of sexual harassment and assault.

Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lupita N'yongo and Ashley Judd are among the women to accuse Weinstein of making an unwanted sexual advance when they were young actresses.

Contrary to rumors that Weinstein was in Los Angeles during the Golden Globes last week, Weinstein's reps confirmed he was NOT in Hollywood, and was in Arizona the whole time.
