Reliance Jio will cut the prices of its plans with 1GB data per day by up to Rs. 60 as part of a new Happy New Year 2018 offer. As a result, Jio prepaid users will end up claiming 1.5GB daily data as opposed to 1GB per day. The Rs 458 tariff plan now offers benefits for 84 days, while the Rs 509 tariff plan gives benefits for 91 days from the date of recharge.
Earlier, Airtel's Rs 448 plan used to offer a validity of 70 days, where users would get 70GB 4G data on a 1GB-per-day basis along with unlimited local and STD calls (250 minutes per day or 1,000 minutes per week).
All Jio plans will continue to offer free unlimited calling and SMSes within India even during roaming. Well, this translates to a total data of 82 GB (with ₹448 plan) and 91 GB (with ₹509 plan) being offered to Airtel prepaid customers. While the ₹448 plan came with a validity of 70 days, the ₹509 plan came with a validity of 84 days.

Starting tomorrow, Jio will add 14GB more data and 14 days additional validity for the same price. The operator has 160 million users across the country, and has been dictating market terms since its launch. For instance, the company's Rs 448 pack offer 126GB data and it come with a validity of 84 days. Other benefits of the plan include unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data per day.
Under Jio's network, users who choose the Rs 459 plan get 1GB data per day for 84 days and those opting for Rs 499 get 1GB data for 91 days. This means users get a total of 82GB data on this plan. Also, the company is all set to increase the Data on some special recharges. The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls with unlimited SMS. Apart from the change in validity, all other plans remain the same.
