Zinedine Zidane insisted he is not interested in making any signings during the January transfer window as he accepted responsibility for Real Madrid's apparently hopeless La Liga title defence.

Madrid travel to Celta Vigo on Sunday, having lost their last LaLiga fixture before the winter break 3-0 at home to Barcelona, resulting in Zidane's men slipping 14 points behind their rivals.

Retaining their crown is all but out of reach for Madrid, who have been linked with Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard, Tottenham star Harry Kane and others.

"I don't want any player to go from the squad".

"Until the 31st [of January] we will see, but not at the moment, why?"

Gareth Bale scored twice to cancel out Daniel Wass' opener and give Madrid the lead before half-time.

He urged his followers to "watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!" "I think I've wasted enough of my viewers' time". Mr Wolff says his book is based on more than 200 interviews with the President and his senior staff over an 18-month period.

Celta drew 1-1 at home to Barca in the Cup and took a 2-2 draw from the Camp Nou earlier this campaign and pacey strikers Iago Aspas and Pione Sisto, as well as the powerful Maxi Gomez will be a handful for a Madrid defense missing the suspended Dani Carvajal and the injured Sergio Ramos.

"We're trying to get out of this mess and we're working to do that, but we don't like this at all".

"In two years, no player has arrived in that position and [in June] we can discuss it". We do not play as we should. "Maybe we do not have enough confidence to play 90 minutes well".

"We'll try to work hard and fight so we can win our next game but we don't like this situation at all, it's difficult because the more games you draw or lose the more pressure you are under".

"You have to kill teams when you have the chance, because otherwise they will bite you".
