Coach Sean McDermott said there is a "chance" McCoy could play after he was carted off the field in Miami.

McCoy is easily the most important player to the Buffalo offense, especially when you consider that no wide receiver even had 500 receiving yards. At the tail end of the magnificent run, he put lockdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who is a solid tackler, in a blender. McCoy was injured with an ankle sprain during last week's game and was questionable leading up to today, and is now officially listed as active.

Buffalo - who suffered the longest barren spell without post-season action across all four major sports in the United States before this season - had not featured in the play-offs since losing 22-16 at this stage in 1999, and had not reached the Divisional Round since 1995.

The Jaguars' recorded seven first downs on the 86-yard drive, which ended with a 1-yard touchdown pass from Bortles to Ben Koyack with less than a minute left in the quarter.

Buffalo had more success (148 yards), but failed to cash in on a first-and-goal opportunity at the Jaguars' 1-yard line.

A win for the Jaguars would send them to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers, who Jacksonville beat 30-9 in the regular season at Heinz Field. The Jaguars own one of the nastiest defenses in the league but one way to beat them is by running the ball. Josh Lambo tied it with 2 seconds remaining on a 44-yard field goal.

The Jaguars managed just 27 yards in the first quarter.

The Bills (9-7) finished the season winning three of their last four games, while the AFC South champion Jaguars (10-6) faltered to losses to the 49ers and Titans in their final two games.
