All 103 local Sears and Kmarts, including the Ocala and Bellview locations, will shutter by May.

Sears Holdings is the parent company of both Sears and Kmart retail stores.

Three Sears and 10 Kmart stores in Pennsylvania are among dozens set to close their doors this spring, but the retailers' locations in Berks County won't be among them.

The Plattsburgh location has been deemed unprofitable by corporate headquarters, who announced on Thursday the closure of 64 Kmart stores and 39 Sears locations between March and early April. The company says closeout sales will begin Friday, Jan. 12.

First Blue Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in 150 Years Coming This Month
The duration of the total phase is 77 minutes, with the moon tracking through the southern part of the Earth's shadow. To make the event even more spectacular, the full moon will also be a supermoon like the one on January 1.

Sears Holdings closed almost 400 Sears and Kmart locations in 2017, according to Business Insider.

The move comes in addition to closing about 250 stores announced past year.

Kmart stores remain open in Allentown, Doylestown, Shillington, Wilson, Walnutport and Wind Gap.

That is in addition to the 63 stores that will close at the end of January.
