Favors once again will man the center position without Gobert.
The Utah Jazz watched center Rudy Gobert go down hard early in Friday's night game against the Boston Celtics, and they now know the extent of his injury. The Frenchman has been dealing with a bone bruise, as well as the confirmed PCL strain according to Charania.
He recently missed 11 games with a bone bruise in his right knee. Teammate Derrick Favors appeared to roll over the back of Gobert's leg, causing the injury.
Gobert, who was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team last season, is averaging 11.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks across 18 appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.

The AFP will allege the missile componentry identified could contribute to the delivery systems for weapons of mass destruction. Gaughan said the charges related to his alleged activity over the past year, but that allegations dated back to 2008.
"This group's got character, and they are going to compete no matter what the circumstances, and they did", Jazz head coach Quin Snyder told reporters.
Gobert has had injuries to his knees already this season. Those two played well in Gobert's absence last time and they'll have to step up once more.
Favors is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers. Getting Gobert back for that stretch will be huge, as those are games the Jazz simply need to win if they want to make it back to the playoffs.
