But never fear, the news is still good: Kellogg's and Nintendo announced today that a Super Mario Cereal will hit the shelves on December 11 in order to celebrate the release of Super Mario Odyssey, which is, as of now, Amazon's best-selling video game of 2017. Nintendo's back in the game cereal game. Well, aside from Snacktaku, which will doubtlessly be putting Nintendo's breakfast treat to the test.

"This powered-up partnership with Kellogg's is another exciting way for us to expand the Nintendo brand in unique and creative ways", Tom Prata, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of strategic initiatives, said.
