"Jersey Shore" premiered to modest viewership on December 3, 2009 but quickly became a massive ratings draw.

Before you ask, 'wait, aren't they parents now?' the new series Jersey Shore Family Vacation follows what people assume will be the gang and their families as they go on holiday together.

The news of this blessed reunion was announced during the premiere of Floribama Shore, the network's latest attempt to recreate the magic of Jersey, but set in Panama City Beach, Florida, instead.

This is not the first time that the "Jersey Shore" stars will be reunited as they recently had a get-together in an episode of "Reunion Road Trip" on E! cable channel last August. All were featured in seasons one through six of the original series, except Cortese, who was on seasons three through six. Giancola and Ortiz-Magro met during the reality show, which took place in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It spawned a few spinoffs, including "Snooki & JWoww" and "The Show With Vinny". It's safe to say that MTV is definitely trying to rekindle the Jersey Shore fever that served them well all those years ago.

The revival comes as MTV is bringing back several of its classics, including "My Super Sweet 16", "TRL" and "Unplugged".

And, it seems that the cast is just as eager for the comeback as we are.
