The question now is when will the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T receive Android 8.0 Oreo?

OnePlus has announced that its long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for its OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones has finally started to roll out to users. And indeed it is so, as most of the flagship Android world now still devoid of the latest Oreo taste sits in anticipation. The new Oreo update brings a lot of new feature to your device as people are claiming that the Oreo update is the most advanced Android update till date. The changelog that notifies the 1.5 GB update is quite short and neat. Besides, the hardware specifications of the smartphones were never powerful enough to manage all the nifty features introduced in newest Android operating systems. First of them is Parallel Apps. It comes with an ability to run more than one app side by side, in the form of a split screen (just like windows 10 and 8.1 offer). I'm sure, it doesn't need any introduction.

You'll also get picture-in-picture mode, auto fill, smart text selection and notification dots (a dot that appears over app icons when you have a notification related to them).

It has since conducted five more nuclear tests and steadily ramped up its ballistic missile program, in violation of U.N. Two women are on trial for poisoning Kim Jong-nam with VX gas in a Malaysian airport last February.

The update bumps Oxygen OS to v5.0. He added that new generation launches only once a year from the brand.

Updated security patch to September. Users will also have the option to directly upload photos to Shot on OnePlus. However, the company says a broader rollout of the Oreo update will be available by the end of the year. From a perspective the OnePlus 3/3T getting the update makes sense. Now, the OnePlus 5T will go on sale Tuesday, November 21 for $499, putting OnePlus' latest flagship in the same camp as the the S8 and G6... at least in terms of pricing.
