LeBron James, Cavaliers ride the subway before game against Knicks

The experience was documented by the National Basketball Association and by LeBron James' media company, Uninterrupted.

The team, who were nearly too big for the subway vehicle, were squishing together for the ride. "Can you not?" the rider said as the camera panned on him before leaving his seat.

"We had two options: a 45-minute bus ride or a six-minute train ride, so we chose to hop on the train with the squad", James says in another video posted on Twitter.

Video on the NBA's Instagram page showed the team making their way through Penn Station before hopping on the subway. Or, as J.R. Smith put it, "like real citizens".
