Head coach Mike Mularkey of the Tennessee Titans looks on during action against the Oakland Raiders in the first half at Nissan Stadium on September 10, 2017, In Nashville, Tenn. The game will be happening at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The Dolphins were shut out 20-0 last week by the New Orleans Saints, after falling to the New York Jets by a final score of 20-6. Mariota completed six of his 10 pass attempts before leaving Sunday's game, throwing for 96 yards and two interceptions. The loss dropped the Titans to 2-3 on the season. MarQueis Gray and Jarvis Landry had success last season on drag routes and screens, which is proof that plays that are mere extensions of the run game could very well jumpstart the Dolphins' offense. Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese had a career-high 349 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Oilers, but it wasn't enough to overcome the running of Hall of Famer Earl Campbell, who finished with 199 yards and four touchdowns. Miami's defense has been pretty decent at 19.0 points allowed per game, but the team obviously need a game-changer on the offensive end of the field. The Titans are 3-1 with the over right now.

The Tennessee Titans will start veteran backup Matt Cassel against Miami in the Dolphins' home opener on today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. Mariota has led the offense to an average of 25 points and 342 yards per game.

England bank on 'hot' Kane to deliver World Cup spot
Despite the fact that he has been England's go-to goalkeeper since 2008, his time as the number one is surely coming to an end. Gareth Southgate wants to prepare for the World Cup with a series of home friendlies in different stadiums across the country.

As if they didn't already know from the five games Mariota has missed with injuries in his first two National Football League seasons, every hope the Titans have of competing in the AFC South and making the playoffs hinges on No. 8 somehow staying upright and on the field. According to Mularkey, Matt Cassel got "all the reps" with the starters. Establishing an effective ground attack by deploying DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry early and often will be a key for Cassel to have success.

In fact, his longest touchdown pass of the season is a 29-yard connection to Kenny Stills against the San Diego Chargers in Week 1. Mariota hasn't tested his hamstring yet on the field outside of the stationary throws.

To me, this game all boils down to if Marcus Mariota suits up for Tennessee. Look for this contest to be low-scoring and ugly.
