Also, every member of the New Day could easily be a credible WWE Champion, which might be good to feud with Jinder Mahal if he retains the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Prior to making his way to the ring, McMahon was stopped by Sami Zayn, who cautioned the SmackDown commissioner about what Owens is capable of doing. That wasn't enough to put the younger McMahon down however, as he re-emerged and took another beating in the ring that ended with a headbutt and Pop-up Powerbomb combo.

As the card is being finalized, WWE announced on this week's episod of "SmackDown Live" that a special tag team match will be taking place on Sunday night. Join me for live coverage on Sunday beginning with the Kickoff Show at 6CT/7ET.

The WWE SmackDown ratings data and viewership information are in for this week's show, and the blue brand saw their numbers dip after a nice increase for last week's episode. With the match looking to favour Flair and Lynch, Carmella took matters into her own hands when she used her Money In The Bank briefcase to attack Lynch, giving the Queen of Harts just the distraction that she needed to lock Flair into her trademark Sharpshooter and earn a submission win.

For weeks, Dolph Ziggler has been complaining to the WWE Universe that instead of appreciating his in-ring ability, they wanted over-the-top entrances and characters.

Also, Ziggler promised that the glorious one would be out-fought at Hell In A Cell.

Tye Dillinger def. Baron Corbin via pinfall: Corbin beat up on Dillinger for most of the match, but Dillinger got one over on the big man with a quick roll-up 1-2-3.
