Google Assistant is now available on Play Store

Along with the presumably faster update process, this also means that you can now add a shortcut for the Google Assistant in your app drawer and on your home screen. Now any user with a phone that has the Google Assistant enabled can say things like: "OK Google, play Spotify" or "OK Google, play some dreampop on Spotify". We hope, that Google is coming in and officially pushing their products to the Malaysian market, as they have announced a range of gadget during the Pixel 2 launch that happened early in the morning.

Interestingly, the Android Wear section of the Google Store can still be accessed, but the only two watches there, LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, aren't available for purchase. Now it looks like Google wants to limit its online store to just "Made by Google" (and, to a lesser extent, "Made for Google").

Or you could try the opposite which is to remove all upgrades from Play Store, bringing its configuration back to when your device first came out of the box. The blue speaker icons allow you to preview the voices. "You can still access your Assistant by pressing and holding down your home button or by simply saying, 'Ok Google'".

We're not satisfied yet with markets, Saudi oil minister says
Saudi king at airport, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dimitriy Rogozin and Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov welcomed. Falih said that Saudi Arabia wants to develop ties with Russian Federation further, particularly in the private sector.

Your device must still meet the requirements in order to use the Google Assistant (Google Search v7.11 or higher and minimum memory requirements). This information could be revealed from the code of the app and Google doesn't mention it anywhere.

It is not of great help for those who already have Google Assistant installed on their phone, but just a way of triggering the digital assistant if that's you were looking forward to.

After releasing Play Store version 8.2.58 last night, Google has now released another version, possibly bringing some urgent fix to last night's release.
