Along with the presumably faster update process, this also means that you can now add a shortcut for the Google Assistant in your app drawer and on your home screen. Now any user with a phone that has the Google Assistant enabled can say things like: "OK Google, play Spotify" or "OK Google, play some dreampop on Spotify". We hope, that Google is coming in and officially pushing their products to the Malaysian market, as they have announced a range of gadget during the Pixel 2 launch that happened early in the morning.
Interestingly, the Android Wear section of the Google Store can still be accessed, but the only two watches there, LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, aren't available for purchase. Now it looks like Google wants to limit its online store to just "Made by Google" (and, to a lesser extent, "Made for Google").
Or you could try the opposite which is to remove all upgrades from Play Store, bringing its configuration back to when your device first came out of the box. The blue speaker icons allow you to preview the voices. "You can still access your Assistant by pressing and holding down your home button or by simply saying, 'Ok Google'".
