Siti Aisyah and Doan were charged with four others still at large with the murder of Kim Chol, 45, at KL International Airport 2 (klia2) departure hall at 9 am on Feb 13, this year.

Witnesses said that Kim Jong Nam was experiencing seizure symptoms and his eyes rolled backward into his head in court.

Iskandar said the men had trained the two women prior to the killing, practicing the attack with the intention to cause death to the deceased.

"Kim's cholinesterase level was 344 and that is low... meanwhile, the reading of the enzyme in the samples taken from Siti Aisyah and Doan (Thi Huong) was normal", she said in reply to the prosecutor this morning.

Siti Aisyah, from Indonesia, and Doan Thi Huong, from Vietnam, entered their pleas at Malaysia's High Court on Monday, almost eight months after the airport assassination.

If convicted, the women face the death penalty.

Kim Jong Nam was on his way to Macau on his last day of his life.

In all probability, Kim will be the one taking over the throne not just because he is Jong-un's son but the seven-year-old is apparently also being groomed to take over the regime once he is old enough, according to Express UK.

Malaysia secured its citizens' release in return for Kim's body and safe passage home for the North Korean citizens sought in relation to the murder. The women have said they thought they were playing a harmless prank for a hidden-camera TV show and were tricked by men suspected of being North Korean agents.

Prosecutors told the court the actions of Siti and Doan showed they both meant to cause Jong Nam's death.

The defense lawyers had asked for the four North Koreans to be named in court but their request was turned down by the judge.

But he had spoken out publicly against his family's dynastic control of the North Korea.

The court heard the testimony of airport worker Juliana Idris and Police Lance Corporal Mohd Zulkarnain Sanudin, who saw Kim before he died in the airport clinic. Prosecutors have said they will call multiple expert witnesses to testify to the women's guilt. "He was closing his eyes tightly and his face was also very red", the physician testified.
