In last week's game, the Falcons took down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers 34-23 at home.

Atlanta has 14 first downs on just three possessions, compared to four for the Lions on their two drives. By rule, 10 seconds had to run off the clock, and that ended the game because the Lions didn't have any timeouts.

The Falcons defense was forced to take on the Stafford led Lion's offense after the Falcons turned the football over three times on three interceptions.

On second down, Ryan hit Mohammad Sanu at the goal line, and though the play was initially ruled short of the end zone, an Atlanta challenge put six points on the board.

Owner Martha Firestone Ford joined her players on the field for the protest, linking arms with her daughters.

In Sunday's first NFL game, some players from the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars knelt during the national anthem and others linked arms before their game in London.
