Hulu's Limited Commercials plan will now be tacked on to Spotify's Premium student accounts, combining both streaming services in a single subscription.
"We're very excited to be partnering with Hulu - a like-minded company which is as focused as we are on delivering the very best in high-quality streaming content", said Alex Norstrom, chief premium business officer at Spotify.
The announcement is the "first step" in offering Spotify and Hulu services together, according to the companies. If you're already on Premium for Students, you can now activate Hulu.

The statements were made shortly after the meeting with South Korea's President Moon Jae-in, which took place in Vladivostok on Wednesday.
The subscription goes through Spotify's website and you can get it right below.
The deal is available for undergraduate students at a US Title IV accredited college or university in the US. Even better is the discount students will be getting by signing up, as it offers significant savings over subscribing to both separately. If you're on the Spotify Family plan, say, you'll have to cancel your subscription and switch over to Premium, but you'll retain all your playlists.
Spotify Premium lets you use the service on all your devices without ads and supports offline caching, playlists and a lot of other stuff.
This is the first time that Spotify has teamed with an entertainment service for this type of bundle. Last April, research firm eMarketer noted that Hulu had 32 million subscribers, 16.5% of its total users, taking third place behind Netflix and Amazon in the US. But the two companies are making a move in an effort to boost their popularity among younger generations with Spotify's new and improved student bundle.
