Talk about a stressful shopping experience.

Novi police told WJBK that the younger woman's mother then pulled out her gun and ordered the other two women to stop attacking her daughter.

No one was hurt in the incident, but Novi Police Det.

The argument, caught on camera by a bystander and shared widely on social media, erupted after two women simultaneously reached for the last notebook at a Michigan Walmart store. The women, Farmington Hills residents ages 46 and 32, and a mother and daughter from South Lyon, ages 51 and 20, were shopping for school supplies at a Walmart in the Novi Towne Center shopping plaza. "There was one left, some pushing resulted", Baetens said. Rather than figuring out a normal way to deal with it, or even asking a Walmart employee if there were more notebooks in the back, they started a fight. In the video, we see the 20 year-old woman kneeling on the floor while two other women seem to pull her hair.

The woman brandishing a loaded gun in a room full of small kids had a valid concealed carry permit.

It is not yet clear what charges the woman who pulled the gun out will face, but police have confirmed they are preparing charges.

"It was a senseless act of violence all the way around", Baetens said. But a mum in the United States has taken the angst to a whole new level one pulling a gun on several other women during an argument over school supplies.

Should charges be filed, the assailant could be facing a simple 90-day misdemeanor charge or a possible charge of felonious assault with a firearm.

In the end, Baetens said he's unsure who got the notebook.
