With the Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro, new features have been added like water resistance and swim tracking, and other features like heart rate monitoring have been improved.

We don't have any specific pricing and availability info just yet, but rest assured we will keep you posted should anything pops up.

The Gear Sport bands are 20mm and come in a variety of colors.

Samsung kicked off IFA this morning by announcing a new range of fitness wearable devices, including a new Gear smartwatch, Gear Fit2 band, and updated Icon X earbuds. They look identical to their predecessor and have much of the same standalone fitness tracking and music-streaming features. Not to mention, the Gear IconX be used to activate Bixby, Samsung's own voice assistant, by a simple tap and hold of the earbud. It's got the same compatibility as the Gear Sport for Android and iOS devices and comes in black or red. It comes with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with circular bezels. At 11.6mm thick, it's still a hefty watch, but not unreasonably so-a Rolex Daytona measures 11.2mm. The battery is 300 mAh.

It's not just a watch, though.

Supreme Court irked by Guj govt delay in Asaram Bapu case
The Apex court asked state government to provide compensation as per their fixed guidelines, and not as per high court order. A bench comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice P.C.

"Through exciting collaborations with iconic fitness brands like Speedo and Under Armour, the Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear Sport set a new benchmark for what Australians can expect from their wearables", said McGregor. Traditional nylon watch straps as well as a hybrid rubber and leather variant are also available. "We want to help remove the stigma that fit can only mean one thing and that fitness trackers are complex and for only the most intense of workouts", Samsung Electronics president of mobile communications business, DJ Koh said in a press release.

Samsung says that with Gear Sport users can work to achieve health and wellness goals, and receive nutrition management alerts and activity recommendations even when they are offline. Everything from measuring the number of strokes or lap times, to tracking which stroke the user is doing is all possible on the 5ATM certified** Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro with the Speedo app. Samsung upgraded its durability so that, like the Sport, the Fit2 Pro has military-grade specs.

Meanwhile, Apple is rumored to be gearing up for the launch of the Apple Watch Series 3.

The Gear Sport's wildcard, as always, lies within its Tizen operating system. The South Korean tech giant showcased the 43-inch Frame TV, saying that the product will hit Europe, Russia, and the United States down the road.

But my biggest concern is that Samsung hasn't done anything to improve the new IconX's Bluetooth 4.2 wireless connection-which is the same as what you got on the old model.

As of now, three different smartwatches line the top of the market. It is packed with features for people who see no boundary between their life and their wellness.
