The Song of Life will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in the USA on March 20th, 2018, publisher Sega announced today.
Sega has promised this will be "the most technologically advanced Yakuza title to date", as Kiryu travels to the new seaside town setting of Onomichi where he must investigate the life of his surrogate daughter, Haruka.
Yakuza Kiwami will be launching at the end of this month and bringing the original game back in remade form, but today we're learning that the next game in the series now has a western release date.
Yakuza 6 is the first game in the series to be fully developed using the PS4 specific Dragon Engine, and also marks the first time where every piece of dialogue is fully voiced in Japanese.
Gary Cohn stays on as White House chief economic adviser
Following rumors of Cohn's departure, the White House released a statement saying he "intends to remain in his position". All 11 major S&P sectors were lower, with technology index's 1.17 percent fall topping the list.
More importantly, you can finally purchase drinks from vending machines and control exactly how much you sip while walking in real-time. The game itself will follow after the events of Yakuza 5. If you're not a big drinker, you might be after you play this game...
The After Hours edition of Yakuza 6 will cost $90 / £80 / AU $130.
In addition to a hardcover art book and a boxed version of the game, those who grab this Premium Edition will also get two Tojo Clan branded coasters, Kiwami and heat action icon ice stones and 280ml bar glasses, the latter adorned with Kiryu's dragon tattoo.
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life was first announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2015) and later launched in the country in December 2016. Take note that pre-ordering will net a free hardcover art book, which doubles as a disc holder.
